My Birthday

I had the most wonderful birthday ever. First of all my computer will not let me use smaller letters and I am not that bright to figure this out.  It only does this on my computer and not Kyle's-weird.  Anyway-I spent the day at the casablanca with my beautiful family.  they swam and I got a facial.  it was so nice to just relax. the day was sunny, warm and absolutely the perfect day to spend in mesquite, nevada.  then the kids kept swimming and later we went down to moapa to visit uncle stick because it was his birthday too.  yes kyle has a uncle who has a birthday on the same day.  we also share the same middle name. i guess it was meant to be-if you believe in signs. hee hee.  it was good to go down.  i stopped at scott's house (my brother) on my way down and visited with his family for a minute.  they have a great family and his wife is amazing.

so we headed for moapa and everyone had already eaten and stick had already had a few too many in him (drinks) but he still wanted to dance.  the story behind it is every year he had invited kyle and I to celebrate his birthday in mesquite and he always said we would dance on the tables.  i always joked around but for the last 12 years i have been pregnant or nursing some child of mine. but i didn't get out of it this time.  they figured out how to get some country blaring out of a 5th wheel trailer and we did the swing dance. he really is a good dancer and it was a lot of fun.  i was terribly embarrassed but i am sure kyle's cousin shanna has managed to post something to facebook by now.

overall i had a really good birthday.  we headed back to mesquite to sleep because kyle scheduled a 7:30am massage and we were tired.  i didn't get a cake this year but kyle surprised me with a banana split from the hotel. he even gathered all the kids to sing happy birthday.  i really had a great time with everyone.  i got my massage this morning and it was wonderful and then we headed home.  and laundry, dishes dinner and life is back to normal.  but it is a great day.
