Month of THANKSGIVING!!!

Upon taking my challenge of putting both feet in I must admit I feel better.  This last week has been simply amazing.  I have not worried as much as to what Kyle is doing and rather just tried to be patient with what my world had to offer that day.  We had a long and fun 5 days off with the kids.  We spent Thanksgiving day in kanarraville with my parents and a couple sisters and their families were there.  And there is always some sort of argument someone wants to start with me.  I fit the statistics.  I am always trying to figure out why anyone would want to start something with me let a lone start something with me because of my kids.  It must be true love :)  All I can do is be confident in who I am and know that this was a test of my long-suffering and temperance.

Kyle always ruffles a few feathers.  One sister even wanted to kill him. She mentioned her husband was a good aim.  That made me feel bad because no matter what my family doesn't get it with me.  I love Kyle so much.  He and I have been through a lot and I am so grateful for the difficult times because the reward is so great.  Today I can say "Bring on the Heat".

We also drove down to Moapa Valley and visited the in-laws.  That went well.  It is always a good laugh.  My kids traveled so well and then the next morning we had a little family gathering with games with Kolby's kids.  Kylee created the Amazing race and we have decided to make it an annual event.  They seemed to have fun.  It was nice when I had my house back.  We chilled on Saturday and took the kids to a movie. For the first time I fell asleep during the movie and Ammon sat quietly on my lap.  And church on Sunday was good.  It was early but I am glad we went.

All in all this is going to be a great end to our year.  Kyle created a job for himself with his brother Kolby. We came off welfare. We will be able to purchase Christmas for ourselves this year. We had two sweet families bring our families Thanksgiving dinner (charma). And no matter how tight it feels physically and financially it feels really good to be where we are Spiritually.  We are trying every day to do better.

Last night I thought that maybe on Sundays before our planning session we could read a Conference Talk from a general Authority.  We read one from the Prophet during the Priesthood session.  It was a talk on the 3 R's.  Right, Responsibility, and Results.  It was a very good talk.  So I hope I can keep doing this.  But I am feeling idle right now so I need to go get my day started.

I must say that my kids were awesome this morning.  They all got up by themselves, got dressed, and I made them german pancakes and Kyle went to the gym early and returned and took them to school.  It has been a great day--I even studied the Book of Mormon.  Everyday is a clean start.  I think this is what it is supposed to feel like when both feet are in.  I hope I can stay here.  It is a nice feeling.
