CFC Fights

A little update on my Kylee.  She is a green belt and the CFC fights which are comparable to the UFC fights came to St. George.  Actually her karate school puts them on.  And so I thought this might be a good chance for her to see all her smooth moves are put into play.  Ya right!!! I wasn't prepared for the half-naked women let alone the jaw dropping schovinestic pigs that were there (and yes my husband and brother n law had to pick their jaws up) :) Sorry Cassey!  But as for the fights they were really good.  I didn't enjoy watching the knock outs but the jijitsu and the mma stuff was really neat.  They even had two girls battle it out and this is when I got nervous.  Kylee leans over and says "Mom I am going to do this"! Okay what have I started.  This was an innocent class to teach her some moves to protect herself. But she is actually really good.  She just got invited to be on the Demo team and she is performing at the Kite festival in April.  She will have a team uniform and everything.  Tomorrow she is learning a pressure point and can't wait to go.

This is a beautiful picture of my loveys.  Kylee invited her dad to the daddy daughter sweetheart dance at school.  And I captured the moment.  Kyle said they had a really good time and that Kylee could really shake it up-mmmm--maybe she has a little bit of my blood in her.  She wants to have a DJ at her 13th birthday but said I wasn't aloud to dance. What!!! I think she is afraid of the dance off and I might win-even at 38.
