October update!!

My life has definitely taken a change in the last few days and it is for the better and I am sure it is just another way the Lord is preparing me to cope with what life may have in store as I get older.  If I haven't mentioned my little cute Ella bella recently then it is simply time to talk about my Ella bella.  She is a darling girl and she is my baby girl and the fifth child of this family.  We all love Ella. She has the beauty of Snow White and the stubborness of Shrek.

When it comes to education Ella is slightly behind and I always knew that. But I don't worry to much because we compensate at home and sometimes the sociality of school is more important at this age. Needless to say Ella was given the nicest Kindergarten teacher. Ms. Langford. She is a doll and so sweet and good to Ella.  She mentioned that if I was interested in extended day Kindergarten that Ella may qualify. I told her that Ella was never tested at her last school and that might be a good idea. I knew she would qualify because she is slightly dislexic. Well within two days of the testing she qualified and I have gone from two kids home at 11:00 am to only one and I am not sure how I am handling this yet.

I have looked forward to this day for so long and I am definitely not going to complain but life sure goes by so fast.   I think the shocker is that my Ella bella is in school all day.  She seems to little and I watched her get on the bus with her sisters one day and my heart sighed.  Life sure is full of curves in the road nothing is straight.

But she is doing well for her first week and she eats lunch their and loves coming home to do her homework and read her books.  Attie and Sandy are really good to her and they watch out for each other.

So I am really excited for the changes but really relying on the holidays to keep me busy.  I have already sewed all the nieces and nephews christmas bags I have for them this year and now I need to keep making my list and checking it twice.

All my kids are doing well.  We just spent 4 days in South Jordan with our friends and we had a really good time.  We went to Thanksgiving point and did the cornbelly maze and it was fun and it was great for Kyle and I to be with such great friends.
