My morning starts out with a devotional that Kyle has prepared for our family every morning @ 6:30am. It begins with family prayer...every child has their day... it begins with the teachings of the Savior and how we can better the life that God has given us..
Kyle & I spend a lot of time together. Sometimes the only people we rub shoulders with is ourselves.... at least that is what it feels like most days...
I feel the most inspired when I go back in time and read a message from General Conference. General Conference is where leaders of our church inspire, direct, guide and influence us for good. The last two days I have read talks given by Sisters in the Church who sacrifice their time, talent & energy to furthering the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
I read a talk about "Certain Women". I would encourage you to go and read this talk. www.lds.org
I was moved by the power that "Certain" is a term that is so powerful. Women hold such an important & vital role on this Earth & some get so caught up in comparing themselves to men & trying to out do the other sex. But in reality we were chosen as women before this world was created. Don't compete, don't put down men, don't underestimate the power you hold as a help meet & partner with your spouse or significant other.
Be the kind of Certain woman that God created you to be. Be inspired by those that have gone before you and paved the way of righteousness.
I'm so grateful to be a woman. I'm so grateful to have this knowledge. And I'm so grateful I AM NOT Perfect... because I CAN become and I CAN look to those around me and be inspired, and be around those that make me better.
