SMART Huh!!

One of the Many catch phrases in our house is "SMART Huh!"
How often do you FEEL Smart? How often do you FEEL Happy? How often do you FEEL important?

I hope you can ANSWER: OFTEN!!

The business that Kyle and I are in you would think it is the Business of Dry Cleaners or Movie Theatres, or Laser Tag or Arcades or Car washes.. But it's NOT that at ALL...\

SURPRISED!!

We are in the business of IDEAS!! We are always creating, thinking, generating, marketing, asking, learning and growing...

Our daily life is spent listening, consulting, hammering out IDEAS and Executing Ideas...
Needless to say it has rubbed off on ALL our children.. they begin to see Opportunity and they struggle to relate to other kids their own age because of the Mindset we have taught within the walls of our OWN Home...

One of our favorite movie quotes is from the movie MONSTERS Inc! and it goes something like this:
"Always Watching Always Watching..

I love this movie!! I love the voice of this Monster!! I love her incredible way she moves... it's slow but on point...

The point is WE should ALWAYS think Smart Huh!
Ella said to me last night as we were gently putting together her duvet for her cute little Minnie Mouse bed, Smart huh!!

She had come up with a better and more efficient way of inserting the duvet with the cover.

Willie (my son with downs) is often finding ways to FEEL Smart... He knows he is different and he knows this because the OUTside world talks down to him, talks to him like he can't Hear or even Read lips... so when he started making Duck Tape Wallets and selling them for $10 at Grandpa's Funeral... we chuckled.. we THOUGHT Genius.. we thought Entrepreneur.. then we thought NO & He said.. SMART Huh Mom!!

I couldn't say NO.. he made a whole lot of money because all the family thought he was so CUTE!! Little did they know WILLIE is so SMART...and every time we go to a Family gathering Willie gathers up his Wallets.. He even takes Orders but YOU have to Pre-Pay!!

President Hinkley gave us a list of Be's when he was the Prophet...
BE SMART was one of them...

God wants us to THINK... He even wants us to THINK for ourselves (are you surprised) He wants you to Study it out in your Mind & in your Heart (where have you heard that before)..

Heavenly Father CREATED us to BE SMART!!!

But YOU must know HE TRUSTS YOU!! I believe that if you are prayerful and you try everyday to live as he would have you live, I believe He Trusts YOU to BE SMART!!!

To ALL my LADY friends who feel like you have Mommy Brain... or feel like all you do is change dirty diapers, clean toilets, cook dinner, work, babysit, taxi drive...

I say to you ALL!!! QUIT FEELING SORRY FOR YOURSELF...

You are SMART!! So BE SMART... BREATHE.. TRUST GOD.. GIVE it ALL To HIM.. He will carry YOU.. He is there for YOU...

And just when you can't anymore (little secret, he never asked you to) look your pretty self in the MIRROR and say these THREE WORDS... GOD LOVES ME!!!
